Il baretto new website

Tuesday, May 11th, 2010

A new website for this restaurant and wine bar in Marylebone. Small but perfectly formed, they have another site in Kensington due to open later in the year. With the Giro d’italia just started and the World Cup next month we might find ourselves visiting here more than is strictly necessary.

Menu Trickery

Friday, January 22nd, 2010

Great article in the Guardian about the devices used by restaurants, and by us designers, to attract customers to their more profitable dishes and distract them from the low-margin items. Truly, a dark art.

Kids City Idents

Friday, November 13th, 2009

A recent commission from Brixton-based children’s charity Kids City resulted in the creation of a series of idents for their afterschool clubs and playschemes. These were ustilised across a variety of media including stencils, window graphics and large format posters. Here are just 9 of the 52 we developed, check out that Mad Professor!

Kevin Cummins

Thursday, September 24th, 2009

Great article and photos from legendary Manchester photographer Kevin Cummins. Famous for his passion for the city’s music scene and it’s football team in equal measure, he once refused to leave fly out of America on United airlines.

The Stone Roses

Monday, August 10th, 2009

Finally collected the samples of all The Stone Roses packaging we’ve been working on over the past few months, including the deluxe Collectors Edition (4cd’s , 3 vinyl and 48 page book), singles box set and other album formats. Have to say we are delighted with how this has all turned out, the production quality is superb and the final package looks ace. In the shops from today.

Following a brand revision for Loch Fyne Restaurants, we designed a new set of menus and promotional material. We also created a new identity for some of their city centre locations, the first of which has been rolled out in Oxford with more locations to follow soon.

Gersemi Summer 2010

Wednesday, June 10th, 2009

We’ve just finished shooting and designing the Summer 2010 (I kid you not) magazine for Swedish fashion label Gersemi, shot on location in glorious Suffolk. A hectic two weeks saw the whole campaign shot, produced and the magazine printed. Nothing like a tight timescale to focus the mind, roll on winter.
