Great article and photos from legendary Manchester photographer Kevin Cummins. Famous for his passion for the city’s music scene and it’s football team in equal measure, he once refused to leave fly out of America on United airlines.
Browsing today’s paper I came across an article about British photographer Paul Graham. His work sits somewhere between Martin Parr and William Egglestone, documenting fragments of everyday life. Last year I went to southern Sweden for a photoshoot and in the course of the location research i discovered the photoblog ‘Ystad Daily Photo’ by the photographer and journalist Fredrik Ekbland. These are beautiful images of this stunning corner of Europe, but even more impressive are his occasional commentaries in perfectly nuanced English.
