Stopped here for lunch on the Island of Magdalena off the north coast of Sardinia. Met by the coastguard on the way in to check we had our COVID negative certificates. We didn’t, but they let us in anyway.
In June 2022 I took on the inaugural Transalp 1200, a bike ride through northern Italy, Austria and Slovenia. The 1250km event started and finished in Verona and took in the South Tirol, the Sillian and Julian Alps along the way.
