A trip to Acton and the only operational post office in the area. People queuing before the 9am opening, the new normal. 40 minutes later and it was still shuttered up, much like every other shop on this usually lively strip.
In June 2022 I took on the inaugural Transalp 1200, a bike ride through northern Italy, Austria and Slovenia. The 1250km event started and finished in Verona and took in the South Tirol, the Sillian and Julian Alps along the way.
