Golf

A round golf today, only my second outing of the year but the old magic made a brief reappearance. I’d stopped playing the game around 15 years ago, too frustrating and time consuming, cycling offered a more binary reward for effort exercised. It was a trip to the Ryder Cup in Paris back in September 2018 that got me back to the sport, we played a couple rounds prior to spectating for a day. You don’t get to see much of that game but for atmosphere and pure partisan enthusiasm there are few sporting events that can match it.
