The mercury nudged 32degC today, too hot for anything more than lounging around and answering the odd email. The hottest day of the year so far concludes with an evening soaking for the garden, the golden hour.
In June 2022 I took on the inaugural Transalp 1200, a bike ride through northern Italy, Austria and Slovenia. The 1250km event started and finished in Verona and took in the South Tirol, the Sillian and Julian Alps along the way.
