Zingaro
A hot 2km walk through a nature reserve, the Zingaro Natural Park revealed this white-pebbled cove with some of the clearest water I’ve ever swam in.
In June 2022 I took on the inaugural Transalp 1200, a bike ride through northern Italy, Austria and Slovenia. The 1250km event started and finished in Verona and took in the South Tirol, the Sillian and Julian Alps along the way.
