In June 2022 I took on the inaugural Transalp 1200, a bike ride through northern Italy, Austria and Slovenia. The 1250km event started and finished in Verona and took in the South Tirol, the Sillian and Julian Alps along the way.

The online news is full of images of previously busy, now deserted streets of London, like the film ‘28 days Later’ suddenly made reality. In truth it’s quiet out there but not quite empty yet as I made my way into the studio today. It feels more like Christmas Eve, minus the decorations and general festive cheer. Anyway, there’s still Milltag work to be done and contingencies to plan for - gotta’ keep on keeping on.
