In June 2022 I took on the inaugural Transalp 1200, a bike ride through northern Italy, Austria and Slovenia. The 1250km event started and finished in Verona and took in the South Tirol, the Sillian and Julian Alps along the way.

I took this photo back in March 2018, around the corner from our old studio in Ladbroke Grove. I’d just got back from a weekends ski-ing and myself and my fellow travellers were all documenting the lack of lunch options compared to dining on the slopes.
