In June 2022 I took on the inaugural Transalp 1200, a bike ride through northern Italy, Austria and Slovenia. The 1250km event started and finished in Verona and took in the South Tirol, the Sillian and Julian Alps along the way.

Seeing Greta Thunberg at Davos is yet another reminder of the difficult choices we face, both individually and as a society to tackle climate change. Over the course of the year I hope to celebrate the everyday with this photoblog but for now, have a photo of some recycling bins in Muscat, from February 2019.
