Twilight
The clocks went back today, it’s dark at 5pm. The season of mellow fruitfulness is upon us, I managed to escape the house for a few minutes to snap the turning leaves on the wall at the top of the road, lit by streetlight at twilight.
In June 2022 I took on the inaugural Transalp 1200, a bike ride through northern Italy, Austria and Slovenia. The 1250km event started and finished in Verona and took in the South Tirol, the Sillian and Julian Alps along the way.
