Tillingham
A few miles inland from Camber Sands is the pretty wonderful Tillingham Farm; winery, restaurant and rooms. Times are hard for the hospitality industry right now but when they are as spectacular as this they deserve to succeed.
In June 2022 I took on the inaugural Transalp 1200, a bike ride through northern Italy, Austria and Slovenia. The 1250km event started and finished in Verona and took in the South Tirol, the Sillian and Julian Alps along the way.
