Went for a Christmas Eve ride this morning, a bright but cold day, proper winter weather. The newswires were feverish with anticipation about a Brexit deal, by the time I got back it was finally done, 100% done.
In June 2022 I took on the inaugural Transalp 1200, a bike ride through northern Italy, Austria and Slovenia. The 1250km event started and finished in Verona and took in the South Tirol, the Sillian and Julian Alps along the way.
