I ride past this fine establishment every day I head out East, a Mary Poppins fantasy idea of a lost London made real. Long may it survive and prosper.
In June 2022 I took on the inaugural Transalp 1200, a bike ride through northern Italy, Austria and Slovenia. The 1250km event started and finished in Verona and took in the South Tirol, the Sillian and Julian Alps along the way.
