Smithfield
This time last year I was walking to the Barbican Centre to see Low, a magnificent night. On the way I noticed these ornate gates to the entrance of Smithfield meat market.
In June 2022 I took on the inaugural Transalp 1200, a bike ride through northern Italy, Austria and Slovenia. The 1250km event started and finished in Verona and took in the South Tirol, the Sillian and Julian Alps along the way.
