In June 2022 I took on the inaugural Transalp 1200, a bike ride through northern Italy, Austria and Slovenia. The 1250km event started and finished in Verona and took in the South Tirol, the Sillian and Julian Alps along the way.

Stripes

It was the FA Cup over the weekend, still early enough in the competition to entertain some lesser known teams and kits. Plenty of throwback stripe kits on show which put me in mind of this classic Sunderland v Brighton composition shot in Aveiro, Portugal in October 2016.
