In June 2022 I took on the inaugural Transalp 1200, a bike ride through northern Italy, Austria and Slovenia. The 1250km event started and finished in Verona and took in the South Tirol, the Sillian and Julian Alps along the way.

There’s been a lot of change on Brick Lane over the past 30 years I’ve lived in London. Back then there was only two reasons to travel over here, for a cheap curry or, if it was 2am and you still needed food, the 24hr Beigel Bakery was your destination of choice. Still going strong and more popular than ever.
